Community Health Representative (CHR) – Angie Mitchell
I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked in my community for many years. I am elated to get the opportunity to work with our service providers to offer a unique concept for health promotion, education, and disease prevention services to maintain or improve the quality of health in my community.
I’d like to encourage and empower members to become responsible for their own health; through programs such as:, coordinating Elders lunches, community physical fitness, traditional concepts of healing, moms n’ tots group, resolution health, alcohol and drug abuse community-based prevention programs (NNADAP) and every day healthy living.
It will be my responsibility is to ensure community members have fair and equal access to the health programs available.
